Spryk, Sarathy Korwar, Sub-Z & More Announced For Boxout Weekender 2019

12 March 2019

boxout.fm has just announced the lineup for their two year anniversary celebration Boxout Weekender 2019.

Taking place at New Delhi’s Summer House Cafe and Auro Kitchen & Bar between 5-7 April, the online community radio will showcase the pool of talent it has uncovered over the two years since its inception with a three-day event. Celebrating the Indian artists who host a show on boxout.fm, some of the confirmed acts include Spryk, MALFNKTION, Sub-Z, GIRLS NIGHT OUT, IAMRISHA, Delhi Sultanate and Sarathy Korwar.

The event kicks off with a focus on hip-hop and bass with Sickflip and EZZYLAND joining Spryk and MALFNKTION at Auro Kitchen & Bar. Meanwhile, Oceantied, Rohan Kaleé and boxout.fm recording artist Corridors will be joining Sub-Z at Summer House Cafe.

On Saturday, artists like Trafficc, SUCHI, GIRLS NIGHT OUT and D80 will move things towards a club orientated sound at Auro while acts like Drum Attic and Adam Rahman will do the same at Summer House Cafe.

Lastly, the festival concludes on Sunday with a series of live performances consolidated at Auro from the likes of electronica band FOPCHU, London-based Indian percussionist and jazz musician Sarathy Korwar, and producer Kumail.

Boxout Wednesday residents Coven Code will keep things moving across Friday and Saturday on the Summer House Cafe rooftop with Pia Collada, Priyam, Lush Lata, Shireen, Fadescha and Zequenx.

With no repeats from the 2018 lineup, Boxout Weekender once again demonstrates the amount of quality, independent music the radio has curated over the year and that continues to thrive in the underground.
