Hudson Mohawke To Tour India With RBMA This November

Red Bull Music Academy will be back in India this November with the roaring neo rave sounds and unrivalled energy of Glaswegian producer – Ross Brichard, more popularly known as Hudson Mohawke.
The Academy will be hosting a three-city tour with the talented producer this November, kicking things off on 12 November in Delhi at Hauz Khas Social. The tour will continue to Bangalore on 14 November at Loft 38 and conclude on 15 November at blueFROG, Mumbai.
RBMA has been bringing in some of the most forward thinking musicians to the subcontinent since last year. December 2013 saw Berlin based electro gods Modeselektor pay the region a visit, which was subsequently followed by Welsh bass don, Benjamin Damage dropping by and performing through May this year.
The hyper percussive, cutting edge sounds and genre irrelevant ability of Hudson Mohawke is next on RBMA’s impressive roster. The producer has become a force to be reckoned with in the international community since he was selected for the DMC (UK) finals at the young age of 15. He’s proved himself again and again since then, signing to the legendary Warp records and dropping his debut LP – ‘Butter’ in 2009 to critical acclaim.
In 2012, the producer began a series of collaborations with hip-hop legend Kanye West, producing tracks on the eagerly awaited GOOD Music compilation – ‘Cruel Summer.’ As if that isn’t enough, he also makes up one half of the ground breaking electronica duo TNGHT with Canadian producer Lunice.
Expect a lush hyperactive and horn blasting amalgam of hip-hop inspired dance music. We strongly suggest you keep your dates blocked for this one.
This announcement comes juts a week after the 2014 edition of the Red Bull Music Academy touched down and fired up its circuits at its brand new HQ right in the middle of Tokyo. Running through to November (we'll be heading over for a bit) it will host a number of programs and events which can all be seen here.
