Preview: Nova Batida - That New Beat In Lisbon

The full lineup for Nova Batida, Lisbon, 2018 is now out. With the massive addition of alternative synthpop masters Little Dragon at the top of the bill, and perfectly complimenting Mount Kimbie, Maribou State, George Fitzgerald and Gilles Peterson, Nova Batida is all set to be one of 2018’s most unmissable events. Afrobeat legend Seun Kuti will also be joining the bill accompanied by Fela Kuti’s original Egypt 80, as well as Stones Throw founder Peanut Butter Wolf.
This is the chance to see some of the world's freshest music across Lisbon's freshest venues. From the sprawling factory with it courtyards, outbuildings, warehouses, as well as disused tram terminus of LX Factory, to the cool edge of Village Underground - combined with easy access to the bustling heart of one of Europe's most vibrant cities, and Portugal's famous surf beaches - Nova Batida has a distinct edge.
As well as the next level musical offerings Nova Batida will also have surf classes on Lisbon's iconic surf beaches, the finest craft beer, street food, as well as morning yoga classes to help you feel ready for the day.
