7th Installment Of Carnival Of E-Creativity Announced
The Carnival of eCreativity is an annual free-for-all incident that brings together experimental and empowering creative practitioners from around the world and India; blending creative knowledge, entertainment and nature into three days. An ideal global rendezvous for those interested in experiencing the cutting-edge in arts, sciences, performance, video, technology and more.
Now in its 7th year, the carnival will take place between 24-26 February 2012 at the Sattal Estate in Uttarakhand.
From a series of carefully curated talks, performances and screenings, to the opportunity to witness unique creative collaborations over a broad range of disciplines, the carnival is unique in that it centres around creative spontaneity and originality. CEC talks and workshops are led by specialised guests as well as upcoming individuals and learners on the brink of creative discoveries and inventions.
The concept behind the festival is to really support and encourage creativity, interaction and collaboration between the festival spectators and performers/speakers via a sharing and exchange of knowledge.
Situated within 250 acres of pristine countryside, the site boats two untouched lakes, one being the backdrop of an open amphitheatre offering an escape from the noise and distractions of the outside world.
Suitable for students, musicians, artists, patrons, enthusiasts, techies, teachers, cultural professionals and anyone with an interest in learning or sharing.
