boxout.fm Launches With Romaré

Online radio station boxout.fm will officially go live on April 7. To celebrate their inception, they are throwing two launch parties in Mumbai and Delhi with Ninja Tune signee and all round sonic mastermind, Romaré.
India’s first ever online community radio, boxout.fm will be catering to the growing demand for alternative music in India. The brainchild of music entrepreneur and promoter Mohammed Abood (mostly known as DJ MoCity), boxout.fm has been designed to showcase sounds and styles that champion underground culture from around the world.
“The idea of an online radio station made a lot of sense to me given the way we consume music in this country. Outside of festivals, concerts and clubs, there is no space for people to listen to alternative music. Promoters need tools to reach people and I want to be the bridge that connects promoters to people.” - Mohammed Abood
On 7 and 8 April, Romaré will no doubt play to a crowd hungry for his sample-heavy productions. Known for tracks like ‘Who Loves You’ and ‘Je t’aime’, the London-born producer has earned a reputation for using a slew of obscure samples to create music that is both innovative and timeless at the same time.
