DJs, Promoters, Collectives & More Invited To Host Community Fundraiser For Jantar Mantar Protests In New Delhi

Over the past few days, the outcry against paper leaks in national examinations (which has resulted in the deaths of 12 - 20 NEET aspirants in 2026, among others) in India and the lack of accountability in government ministers since then has grown into massive protests around the country, with its focal point being at the capital's Jantar Mantar. The massive gathering of youth around the area on June 20 was also met with police brutality, with further reports on subsequent days.
As the protests continue, Jay Drive, the Delhi-based DJ and programmer for adjacent venues Auro Kitchen & Bar and Summerhouse Cafe, has put out an open call to invite DJs, promoters, collectives, artists and other creative industry professionals who can contribute time, equipment or space to come to together for a community fundraiser to take place on Friday, July 24, at Auro Kitchen & Bar.
The fundraiser aims to aid charities and organisations supporting people affected by the brutality meted out at the protests.
