Moby Offers 500 Tracks For Free Remixing Or Creative Work

2 May 2025

Popular American music producer Moby, known especially for tracks like 'Porcelain' and 'Go', recently uploaded 500 new tracks for creatives to use free of cost.

Added to his repository at mobygratis.com, a resource he created all the way back in 2005, the tracks span styles from ambient and jazz to breakbeat and R&B, with most including multi-tracks. The music is offered with "no strings attached" i.e. to be used by people like dancers, filmmakers, choreographers, rappers, remixers, and non-profits without having to pay for a license.

However, the work utilising the tracks can only be used for non-commercial purposes and requires one to apply for a commercial license if used for commercial purposes. The website also discourages one from using any work to promote right-wing politics or animal, dairy, and meat products.
