Indian watch brand Rotoris has just launched 'Rotoris Room' with the first episode bringing together Indian classical music virtuoso Ayaan Ali Bangash, chef Prateek Sadhu, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, wildlife filmmaker Suyash Keshari and comedian Vir Das for an intimate conversation.

Son of maestro Amjad Ali Khan and recent Grammy Winner, Ayaan Ali recently featured on the Gorillaz album 'The Mountain', while Kashmir-born Prateek Sadhu gained prominence as the chef and co-founder of the prominent Mumbai restaurant Masque before moving on to showcase his knowledge of indigenous ingredients in Himachal Pradesh through the fine dining spot NAAR. Both Saif Ali Khan and Vir Das have been prominent names in the Indian film industry, the former as a leading man for 3.5 decades and the latter with his work as a comic artist, writer and stand-up comedian beyond Indian shores. Suyash Keshari has meanwhile been synonymous with the safari industry of India, emerging as an award-winning wildlife photographer, filmmaker and conversationalist – going on to found the safari company Ameliya, which takes guided tours across Africa and the Indian subcontinent.

By bringing together stalwarts from classical music, culinary arts, cinema, wildlife storytelling and comedy, the series attempts to rejuvenate the format of the roundtable discussion as it groups an assortment of individuals otherwise unlikely to share space for free-flowing exchange. However, the leading figures manage to draw parallels from their separate professional fields to discuss maturing as creatives, early beginnings, what failure looks like in an evolved career, inspirations, discipline required to hone craft, ambitions and even chivalry over an hour of unscripted conversation.
