SYEYL Introduces New Fuzzy Euphoric Electronica EP With 'limer' Via EELF Records

Hrithik Arora aka SYEYL claims to have been "losing touch with his own artistic voice" before he found his way back with the upcoming EP 'Music Is The Answer', moving away from composing for function and bookings to reconnect with an emotive instinct. The choice pays off as the New Delhi-based artist manages to create focused and cohesive emotional worlds on the 5-track EP, especially unburdened by the need to include an excess of ideas in order to impress on the lead single 'limer'.

Shortened from the word "limerence", the track accordingly packs that sentimental dancefloor moment euphoria seen in the works of the likes of Bicep, Tom VR and some Four Tet. Simple rhythms of pristine digital textures syncopate against each other to create a sense of movement and rhythmic and harmonic ambience atop the four-to-the-floor groove, while the music video's early digital-camera aesthetic rounds out the nostalgic undercurrent in the music.
