SEQU3L Explores Intensity And Contrast On New EP 'Rebel'

Aurangabad-born seasoned DJ and producer Nakul Ambikar aka SEQU3L recently released his 2-track EP 'Rebel' via Italian label Obscura Music.

While relentless is a word often thrown around within music, the title track earns that descriptor by keeping its thumping drums and rolling bass nearly constant, maintaining its ebb and flow more through the dissonance and release from noise risers and gritty saws. Contrast that against the more dynamic 'Flat Spin', which maintains the same foreboding intensity through its pitched-down vocal samples filling the peripheries as the key space is filled by spritely drum sounds that morph into the distorted echoes and noise that engulf you at tracks' most engulfing moments.
