Hautewulf Travels From Ambient To Future Bass On 'Stars falling over Kyoto'

After venturing into sci-fi with his 2020 EP 'Addicted', Mohan Kumar aka Hautewulf returns with a new single 'Stars falling over Kyoto' – this time, taking inspiration from anime soundtracks.

The New Delhi producer gives glistening overly dramatic short melodies the limelight but keeps from becoming a tribute to his inspiration by making them part of an ambient bed. What can be seen as an extended intro or a contrasting first half leads via a gradual and invigorating build-up to drop into a parade of wobbling bass parts and chopped-against-complementary-others synth parts for a foray into a mix of future bass and IDM.
