jeevana. & EssJay Offer Lo-Fi Pop With EP 'daydreams.'

Mumbai-based producer Jeevan Goyal aka jeevana. and vocalist Siddhant Jadhav aka EssJay recently released the EP 'daydreams.'
The 6-track release harkens to the lo-fi aesthetics of the pair's previous work in the fuzzy saturated warmth and languid rhythms of the drum and bass section, but pairs it up with the brightness of lush vocal pads, chiming guitars and horns-like synths for timbral contrast. The defining aspect of the EP, however, rests with the accessible song structures and earworm choruses that pervade this work about introspecting and then facing the questions that arise from it.
