Listen: Curtain Blue Releases Single ‘My Obscurity' Ahead Of EP Launch

7 April 2015

Alternative electronic musician and producer Curtain Blue, a.k.a. Abhishek Bhatia is all set to release his debut EP ‘Drones’ on 13 April. In its anticipation, Bhatia – also the vocalist of the Delhi-base alternative rock band, The Circus – has officially dropped the lead single off the EP - ‘My Obscurity’.

Curtain Blue has played his much loved first single at a number of his performances. His expressive vocals are layered over splintered beats and bold syths to construct a powerful track that sees the producer explore a side of electronic music that few Indian musicians have succeeded to do before.

The release of ‘My Obscurity’ comes right before Curtain Blue’s EP launch on Thursday at antiSOCIAL. The ace live performer will be collaborating with a number of his peers for the event including the duo at Frame/Frame and Fuzzcluture, his bandmates from The Circus, Sundogproject, Half Step Down and more. With support from Mumbai based Raxit Tewari a.k.a. Your Chin, we strongly suggest you drop by.

You can listen to ‘My Obsurity’ below and watch Curtain Blue’s teaser video for ‘Drones’ here. The producer will also be playing alongside Sulk Station and Nicholson at Alchemy at the Southbank Centre in London as well as numerous UK dates through May.
