My Nu Leng: Oji Returns With Thump & Black Butter Records

London’s Black Butter Records is possibly one of the biggest success stories from the international independent label sector from the last few years. They’ve achieved more than just cult status since releasing music from Rudimental, Clean Bandit, Gorgon City and core part of the Black Butter crew, My Nu Leng. A Bristol based duo that have a "hard-to-categorise sound", drawing on varied influences and traversing the whole spectrum between pitch shifted vocals and bass heavy bangers.
It's no surprise then, that party crew Oji have collaborated with Black Butter Records to do a run of shows in India kickstarting with groundbreaking bass music duo My Nu Leng. In collaboration with Thump - who'll be documenting the entire tour - Oji will be touring the boys through New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore later this month and no doubt will be starting a riot on each date.
Having already toured the likes of Skream, Flux Pavillion and Major Lazer in late 2014, this is Oji's nod to more forward thinking output from the bass music scene. With numerous gigs confirmed across the UK including Fabric, Motion and Snowbombing in Austria Mu Nu Leng are heading for a breakthrough year, and you're being taken on the ride.
