Emerge Tour Kicks Off in Mumbai Today

21 May 2014

Bass masters Engine-Earz are kicking off the exciting ‘Emerge Tour’ today (21 May) and we’re here to tell you everything you need to know about it.

The tour starts this evening at the True School of Music, Mumbai with a conversation between Engine-Earz and Asa regarding emotional narratives in electronic music, followed by a talk from Pavan (Foreign Beggars), Ali Sachedina (music lawyer) and Prashant Mistry (Engine-Earz) about evolving from an independent artist to a professional in today's music industry. The talk is a unique way to start off the tour and a must for any budding producers in Mumbai. The discussion starts at 6pm and entry is free but you still need to register to attend - all the details are available on the True School of Music’s Facebook page here.

The scene will shift to Royalty in Mumbai later that evening with a ridiculous lineup featuring performances from Engine- Earz (DJ set), ASA, Orifice Vulgatron (Foreign Beggars) and FUNC. This lineup is sadly unique to Mumbai, but fear not - those with a penchant for bass can also catch Engine-Earz and Asa in Delhi, Kolkata, Pune and Bangalore.

We were lucky enough to have Pavan and Prash at Magnetic Fields last year who created an infectious whirlwhind of chaos, mischief and good times. Their performances are unique to say the least and their high energy is contagious - we suggest you check out the tour if you’re in any of the cities. Updates will be posted on their Facebook page here but a summary is below:
