Eden Festival: Full Line Up & Details Announced

Mumbai's longest standing scenesters Bhavishyavani Future Soundz in partnership with Network Prive, is launching Eden Festival later this month.

Unless you've been completely off the radar, you would have heard some of the line up announcements expected to transform Mumbai "into a countercultural playground, an urban space that captures the dynamic community of thinkers and creators, makers and doers that has, for centuries, made it the most vibrant city in India, and one of the most exciting on earth."

Over the years, BFS has built a network from the ground up, introducing ground-breaking talent from abroad and nurturing home-grown talent on its own turf. Within the last decade they've also transformed themselves into a multi-dimensional art, design and music collective that reaches across media and across communities throughout India.

For the three days of Eden, their aim is to bring all those communities together, at three venues, for three very distinct experiences.

"We’ll move from the dark, clubby vibe of blueFROG, to a secret open-air party on a harbour-bound boat, to the swish garden terraces of the Palladium Hotel. Berlin-based performance/art collective Crystal Mafia will head up the visual component - mixing a Polaroid photo booth with dress up performance and games, all alongside arts management agency What About Art?. There will also be installations from acclaimed designer Little Shilpa, or video installations from Wolves and Transhuman Collective. We’re also working with India’s next generation of party makers by teaming up with Grime Riot Disco."

Acclaimed dance music producer Minilogue (Sebastien Mullaert DJ Set)), 50 Weapons flag bearer Phon.o and Canadian electronic percussionist Guillaume & The Coutu Dumont, dub specialist Deadbeat and one of the crews favourite DJ's Mike Shannon are all on the bill. Home-grown talent will be led by the likes of Delhi Sultanate & Begum, Uri Feat. Suman Sridhar, Arjun Vagale, Kohra, BBC, Sandunes and the full Bhavishyavani Crew (from the current line up - M.Mat, Charlee & Loopkin) to original members such as Insat (Ashim Alhuwalia), Masta Justy or Mukul Deora a.k.a Bhaisaab.

That's not even all of it. Eden is going to be a party in honour of 15 years of good times and the people who have made them that way.
