Electro-House Legend Ewan Pearson To Tour India This Weekend

23 April 2013

Berlin based producer Ewan Pearson has been one of the driving forces behind the explosion of electro-house over the last decade. His 2002 remix of Freeform Five’s 'Perspex Sex' is widely acknowledged as being an iconic track in taking the genre to the next level.

An established member of remix-royalty, he has worked with contemporary titans like Depeche Mode, Royksopp and the Chemical Brothers. The prolific producer and remixer is in constant demand with his more recent treatment being applied to soul sensation Jesse Ware’s ‘No To Love’ track.

In addition to being widely sought out as a producer by the musical and commercial elite, he is highly regarded in the critical realm as a published academic and lecturer, while his popular blog ‘Enthusiasm’ sends “readers hot-footed to record stores in their droves.”

Ewan Pearson is nothing short of a legend in contemporary electronica, this is a rare opportunity to see a figure who has shaped, steered and influenced the playing field as it now lies. Get a taste with his flawless Boiler Room set below.

You'll be able to catch him on 26 April at Kitty Su in New Delhi and 28 April at Mumbai's AER alongside Bhavishyavani Future Soundz.
