India Surf Festival Prepares For Its 2nd Edition

14 January 2013

"The spirit of the event is to encourage Oneness of all kinds of surfers and experiment sharing the wisdom pools that allow us to become change makers. Join the gathering of global artists, musicians and designers while sharing the joy of surf adventures on a sunny unspoilt beach in Odisha." - India Surf Festival

With surfing quickly becoming one of the fastest growing sports in the country, it's no surprise that India Surf Festival is back for a second year of music, arts, culture and most importantly surfing.

Following the success of last year's event, the festival, due to take place from 25-27 January is slated to feature a busy schedule on and off the water with live music and visual artists taking centre stage. Aside from a whole load of surfing as well as SUP yoga and a SUP race, cultural highlights include live performances from The Bahh Band, The Hargo, Antariksh, Tom Becker, 120 DUB and Selecta Rulin' Fire as well as movie screenings, dance performances and live installations all on the sandy shores of Odisha.

Entry to the festival is strictly through registration which rounds off to Rs 1,500 excluding accommodation charges. Surfers with their own equipment won't need to pay a registration fee, yet accommodation charges still apply. Full details on the accommodation on offer can be found here
