Avalanches, Massive Attack & Justice To Take Part in New King Kong Musical

Sydney theatre company Global Creatures have recently announced a major new stage production of King Kong. The show, which will run for 12 weeks in Melbourne, Australia is set to involve musical contributions from some of worlds leading contemporary musicians.
So far we can confirm that The Avalanches are signed up to contribute new musical material to the score as well as Massive Attack’s 3D and French electro duo Justice. Long time Björk collaborator, Marius de Vries has also been invited to take a leading role in proceedings.
The performance will involve “modernised musical standards from the world’s best contemporary artists" and all in all sounds like quite a spectacular with circus artists and large-scale projections/sets all set to play a major role.
