Rusko Ready To Leave Mad Decent Over Album Stream

20 March 2012

For most dubstep fans across the world, the release of Rusko's long awaited Songs LP, due to be released on Mad Decent next week is pretty old news.

Yesterday, Mixmag posted a full stream of Songs, obviously with permission from the label. Although it got the internet pretty excited, there was one person who was missing out on the laughs. Our man Rusko, the one person they forgot to check in with before OK'ing the stream.

An angry Rusko, quickly jumped on twitter to express his concerns:

“Try and keep something under wraps for months and then the fucking label allowed a full live stream. Congrats @maddecent it’s everywhere now”. This was quickly followed by a one word tweet stating "cunts”.

Rusko then went on to openly declare that on the official release date of 27 March, he'll be "free" from the label and may just upload the whole thing as a torrent himself.

The stream has since been removed by Mixmag, with the magazine tweeting, "Once again, apologies @ruskoofficial. We were told it was cool to start hyping your new record. Pls don't shoot the messenger."

Rusko replied, "@Mixmag no messengers shot!! U guys r just reppin -- big ups for that!"

Mad Decent has yet to publicly respond to Rusko's comments.
