Listen & Download: Skream's Solid Steel Disco Mix

10 February 2012

Better known for kick starting the dubstep phenomenon with tracks like this, Skream's influences spread far and wide. This is something you might have already picked up on should you have listened to any of his recent sets. What he's made clear from day 1 is that disco is probably his most adored genre.

Recorded for Solid Steel Radio, this 30 minute mix expresses outright the producers undeniable love for the 70's genre. Taking in a variety of musical eras, the session kicks off with Canadian synth group Lime, moving onto classic 80′s boogie from Slick and closing off with the likes of The Bucketheads, Daft Punk and Prince.
