Noni-mouse Makes Her Hindi Debut With 2-Step Bop 'Sun Lo'

Producer-DJ Radhapriya aka Noni-mouse has frequently used her voice in her off-kilter electronica productions. While previously that has come in the form of synthesised layers and chopped-up samples being put together to form a hook, her latest single 'Sun Lo' sees the erstwhile Mumbai and now London-based artist slip into more unobscured lyrical singing, that too in Hindi.

According to Radhapriya, the single marks "an intentional pivot where I combine my two main influences: 90's Hindi pop with polyrhythmic dance music."

In doing so, 'Sun Lo' becomes one of her tightest offerings, as it simplifies and rids off any frivolous layers in favour of being convinced about the prowess of its two defining aspects. The short verse of yearning to have heartfelt secrets be heard frames the emotional quality of the track, while the economised 2-step groove gives it a catchy lift. Along with the light-hearted music video by Priya Panchwadkar and Siddharth Dhananjay, it balances the track's message with a lively foundation.
