Arooj Aftab, KR$NA, Natasha Noorani, Jorja Smith & More Come Together For Riz Ahmed's 'Bait'
21 April 2026
'Bait', the series by and starring famed actor and rapper Riz Ahmed, just released a 17-track compilation album featuring 37 artists that read like a snapshot of where music from South Asia and its diaspora are right now.
The album features 6 cuts from the original soundtrack from the show alongside further cuts 'inspired by' the sonic world of the soundtrack, which pulls from '70s South Asian cinema, contemporary desi hip-hop, grime, jungle and atmospheric pop. Delhi's KR$NA, Pakistan's Natasha Noorani, Abdullah Siddiqui and Talha Anjum-Talhah Yunus duo Young Stunners, Punjabi indie's Talwiinder, Abdullah Maharvi, New York-based Bangladesh-rooted hip-hop artist Anik Khan, and Grammy-winner Arooj Aftab all appear alongside UK names like Jorja Smith, Jay Sean, Nayana IZ, CASISDEAD and ENNY.
Riz himself appears on two tracks, including 'SAYA' alongside Natasha Noorani and Abdullah Siddiqui, and 'We Good?' with CASISDEAD and production titan Manni Dee, who flips a 1980 Tamil classic by Ilaiyaraja into something distinctly contemporary.
