Muse, Karnivool For Bandland; Monolink, Stavroz For Echoes of Earth – Both Bangalore Festivals Announce Their Lineups

Echoes of Earth has just announced the lineup for its next edition, which takes place at Bangalore's Embassy International School on December 13-14.
After hosting the likes of Tinariwen, Modern Biology, Len Faki, Cobblestone Jazz, Mount Kimbie and French 79 in its previous few editions, the ecologically-crafted music festival will bring German electronica act Monolink, Belgian group Stavroz, UK's Submotion Orchestra and US' Madame Gandhi as some of the top draws this year. Unique live acts like Manu Delago Trio and Vilnius Jjazz Ensemble will join reputed global selectors like Sunju Hargun, Aroop Roy and Anish Kumar as well as homegrown contemporaries like Dotdat, AAGUU, Nida and Focus Group Soundsystem. Some Indian live acts on the lineup are The F16s, Jatayu, Derek & The Cats, and Varijashree Venugopal.

Another festival in the city and now a calendar highlight for rock fans, Bandland too has just announced the lineup for its next edition, which takes place at the city's NICE Grounds on February 14-15. Having hosted the likes of Deep Purple, Goo Goo Dolls, Avenged Sevenfold and Extreme in the past, Bandland has announced the rock groups Muse, Train, Scribe and Karnivool as their biggest draw this year. While artists like Mali, Tejas, The Lightyears Explode and Sahil & Tariq Vasudeva will represent the Indian talent on the lineup.
