Shrii Collaborates With Hannes Bieger For Goa-Inspired Melodic Dance Track 'Rising'

Berlin's Hannes Bieger used a weekend off of his India tour, of which he has had two since his 2022 debut in the country, to work with Hyderabad's vocalist, songwriter and producer Shrii and create the single 'Rising'. The second release on his label Elektrons, the track aims to capture the producer's experience of Goa and a feeling that he describes as "rays of sunlight cascading through the jungle trees".

'Rising' stands as a strong techno track in its extended section with its strong thump underpinned by a syncopated bassline and understated emotional bed of strings. However, it is uplifted to standout levels by how the emotional atmosphere is carried forward with Shrii's soaring melodies, the soft synth that interjects the vocal phrases and the boost of energy with a harder-hitting second half.
