Renao Offers Romantic Funk-Pop With 'BLIND'

Bangalore-born and London-based artist Renao has announced his double EP titled 'A Space Between Orange and Blue', set to release on June 2nd, with his latest single 'BLIND'.

The third single released from the double EP, 'BLIND' sees Renao switch from the ethereal pop of the previous tracks for a buoyant number pinned by syncopated basslines. As the EP explores the nuances of his relationship with India, his home country, and the UK, his new adopted home, 'BLIND' tries to evoke the feelings of romantic meet-cutes, Renao saw in films while growing up in India.

He explains: “There was something appealing about writing a story like a traditional romance about meeting on the dance floor and falling in love. I wanted this project to have genres that have represented my life and ‘Blind’ takes me back to being a kid with a fascination with Western cinema."
