Gig Preview: antiSOCIAL Launches Season 2

Back in November 2014, we announced the launch of antiSOCIAL, a venue that in its 9 months running has grown to become of the most popular cultural spaces in Delhi. antiSOCIAL (which doubles as a workspace in the daytime) has provided the space for film screenings, book meeting, exhibitions, artists meets and much more. It’s also hosted some of the best parties we’ve had all year with Indian and international acts like Kode9, Daedelus, Parra for Cuva, HVOB, My Nu Leng and more playing for eager audiences in packed rooms.

antiSOCIAL is re-launching itself this Thursday for Season 2 with performances by the The Ska Vengers, Jass B'Stards & Delhi Sultanate (BFR).

This will be The Ska Vengers first concert in the capital this year. The band is known to blend ska rhythms with elements of punk, dub, jazz and rap for an energetic style of music that is distinctly their own. The band is made up of Stefan Kaye, Samara C aka Begum X, Delhi Sultanate, Nikhil Vasudevan, Tony Guiard (both of whom also play with Kaye for the Jass B’tards) their latest addition on bass, Chaz and Kishore Sodha on the trumpet.

Stephan, Nikhil and Tony will also perform as the ever-entertaining Jass B'stards, and Delhi Sultunate will close the night with a special Bass Foundation Roots strictly vinyl set that’s sure to end things on a high.
