Register For The DIY Radio Workshop With Nomad India At Social Bangalore

Bangalore’s Church Street Social has got a very interesting weekend lined up for the participants of the DIY radio workshop conducted by Nomad India.

Nomad India started out as a group of communication technology enthusiasts who came together with the common aim of democritising information and communication technology. In the years since their commencement, the Nomad team has managed to become the only non-governmental body that manufactures transmission system for community radio stations. And their two day workshop plans to spread that invaluable knowledge to many more people. The last year alone has seen Nomad put out over a dozen radio stations on air with many more yet to come. The DIY Radio workshop is spread over two days on 18 and 19 April and will take place at Church Street Social in Bangalore. If you’re interested in taking part, register here as soon as possible since the workshop’s capacity is limited to 20 people. You’ll have to pay Rs. 1000 to participate. This fee will include your DIY kit as well as some food to munch on while you learn.
