Bonobo To Perform Live In Mumbai This December

17 October 2014

December’s going to be an exciting and very busy month for music lovers in India.

Mumbai based event company Oranjuice Entertainment yesterday announced that British musician, producer, DJ and downtempo pioneer, Bonobo, will be performing live in the city on 13 December at Johnnie Walker – The Journey. The performance, which will take place at Mehboob Studios, will also feature Grammy Award winning nu-jazz collective, Snarky Puppy, Australian theatre company Dislocate's production - "If These Walls Could Talk", and Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts.

If the date sounds familiar, it’s because the same weekend will also host a number of artists at Magnetic Fields Festival in Alsisar Mehal, Rajasthan, as well as dance music mammoths, Major Lazer. If you’re having a tough time deciding which event to attend, here’s some help.

Simon Green, better known by his stage name, Bonobo, has been in the spotlight since his first foray into the music word in 2000 when he released his highly acclaimed debut album, 'Animal Magic'. He has consistently and emphatically delivered album after album since then, his last being the orchestral, chiming 'North Borders'.

Ticket availability and pricing details are yet to be released for this event. For updates, follow Oranjuice Entertainment and Bonobo on Facebook.
