Lively Up Your Earth: Auroville Announces 4th Edition Of Eco Music Festival

12 February 2014

Set to take place on Saturday 22 February at Solitude Farm in the “experimental township” known as Auroville in Tamil Nadu, Lively Up Your Earth will be the 4th edition of the festival. The day long festival is a celebration of community, ecology, music and creativity, in addition to all the work taking place on Solitude, a permaculture farm.

There will be an interesting variety of eco stalls offering a range of products to help make your life more sustainable; workshops; a play zone for the kids and of course music - and a little bit of magic too. Programming takes place over 2 stages: Main Stage for the larger acts and the Secret Garden Stage will offer a more intimate experience.

Tickets are reasonable and come in a variety of packages which include meal tokens, drinks tokens, workshop tokens, accommodation options - if you opt for the VIP ticket you also get an organic gift pack.

While the lineup doesn’t exactly send us into spasms of excitement, the whole feel of this event is really really good. You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover but the poster is great, a nod to the good old fashioned wholesome festival feel that is distinctly lacking on the circuit at the moment but seems to be slowly bubbling its head. If you can you should go.
