Watch: London Based XXXY Build a Beat In Ableton In 10 Minutes

With a 12" due out for release on Doc Daneeka's Ten Thousand Yen label sometime next month, London based beat-maker xxxy recently gave the world a glimpse into his studio and production process, by using Ableton to put together a beat in just under 10 minutes.

As part of a brand new 'Against The Clock' video series, FACT TV asked house and UK bass music producer, xxxy to build a track in just 10 minutes, and of course, given the chance to show off his production process, he agreed.

The rules are very simple: each artist picked will have 10 minutes to make a track in Ableton and will have to start with a blank screen – though, pre-made samples and patches are allowed. The 10 minute video, showing the entire 10-minute process, can be seen below:
