blueFROG To Open Branch In Pune & Chandigarh This Year

17 January 2013

Mumbai's iconic venue blueFROG first opened its doors to the public back in 2007. For the last 6 years it's been a pillar for the city's bustling live music scene covering acts from a wide variety of genres that include jazz, blues, funk, soul, afrobeat, latin, electronic, rock, folk and hip-hop, just to name a few.

In 2011 it spread its wings and boldly opened a bigger, louder and swankier version of its Mumbai counterpart in New Delhi to much critical acclaim.

News has now emerged that Pune and Chandigarh will be the next couple of cities to have branches set up within 2013. With Chandigarh's close proximity to New Delhi and Pune's with Mumbai, the club is hoping they'll be be easy spaces to remotely manage from their local hubs.

“We’ve already begun work on these two venues and hope to open up by the middle of the year” - Mahesh Mathai, Co-founder blueFROG.

Now, that was quick.
