Frame/Frame a.k.a Nikhil Kaul is a producer from New Delhi with a taste for an eclectic mix of electronica ranging from synth-driven tech to sample-laden post-dubstep and ambient electronica. It is this large palette of soundscapes and emotions that Frame/Frame attempts to showcase within his production and live shows. An exhilarating musician, Nikhil is also the producer and resident mix engineer for one of the country’s most exciting electronica acts, Switch Bitch. One act to watch out for in 2012.
Recently Frame/Frame uploaded a new track to his SoundCloud. A spacious, thoughtful and ambient track, it manages to swell and retreat whilst its drums consistently skitter in and out of frame. With a lot of motion it has grace and purpose. It's even got a little electro section towards the end. This is an artist that is no doubt going to blow over the next year. We suggest you keep an eye on him.
