Bandish Projekt Host Ableton Workshop In Mumbai
Bandish Projekt resonates the musicality of Mayur Narvekar, a composer, producer, DJ, remixer, performer and a multi instrumentalist. Bandish in its Indian classical connotation means “composition”, while Projekt reflects its innate extermination. The music as Mayur suggests is: "the symbiotic conjoining of folk music fused with electronic or classical Indian ragas entwined into trip hop."
While touring in India Bandish Projekt has just announced the launch of a new workshop teaching Ableton and the techniques of producing music. The workshop will be conducted by Mayur Narvekar (Bandish Projekt) and special guest Robin Sukhadia (Tabla Pusher) from the States. You will get to know how to create your own beats from scratch through recording different sounds and implementing them in your own tracks. No previous qualifications are necessary. It dosent even matter if you're not a musician.
"We will take you through a step by step process of creating and making your own tunes making sure that by the end of this workshop you'll create at least one track of on your own. The method of teaching patterns are simple and created according to the students requirements. The fees are inclusive of your stay and meals. Other than learning music production and sound design at BBF there would be a number of added benefits in terms of mentoring and much more throughout your journey as a music producer. Besides this, you'll be affiliated with our network forever"
The workshop will be running in Mumbai from 2 October - 4 October.
