Basement Jaxx Looking For Indian Vocalists On Upcoming Album

Now working on their final album, the dynamic electronic duo have hinted in an interview with the Hindustan Times that they are looking to collaborate with Indian singers.

“Our next album will probably be the last Basement Jaxx studio album. Perhaps this one will have a bit of an Indian angle too. I'm very interested to see if there are any singers or people out there with whom we could collaborate.”

Buxton will be travelling to India for the first time without Ratcliffe to headline at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender in Pune in November.

“I have heard a lot about India. All my friends have travelled there so I'm very excited to go there myself.” he says, adding, “Hopefully when I'm there I'll get to hear some Indian music and mash it up and play that at the festival as well.”
