Dot. Begins To Find A New Voice With 'Indigo'

Aditi Saigal aka Dot.'s early success came through the youtube videos of her rehearsals, especially one of her song 'Everybody Dances to Techno'. With ditzy old-world charm, Dot.'s style was a call to nostalgia for the vintage.

With her latest single 'Indigo' (as well as the recently released Chirag Todi collaboration 'Spiced Lemonade'), the New Delhi artist begins to emerge out of it for fresher sonic grounds while still maintaining the prowess of her songwriting, which engages all senses to carry a transporting quality. The single even tops her previous releases like the EP 'Khamotion' to offer a creation succinct enough to benefit from the polish of the production which uses lo-fi drums and the bounce of the guitar to maintain a close intimacy before the chorus breaks into bigger jubilation.

Aditi explains: "This song is about letting go of what other people might think of your writing; to try and simply live in the world you’ve created. To wander the marketplaces, palaces and forests you've built."
