The Lost Party Announces Details and First Lineup

Multi-genre music festival The Lost Party has announced a new venue and first lineup for the second edition of their three-day event, which is set to take place from 26-28 February at a picturesque Saltar Lake, in the foothill of the Sahyadris in Maharashtra. French trip-hop collective Chinese Man will officially launch The Lost Party with a special gig at blueFROG in Mumbai on 13 February.
The Lost Party team have announced 4 international acts at the festival so far with more coming up. The lineup includes ace Parisian beatmaker dEbruit, who is known for merging global sounds with dance music and hip-hop, German live electronic act Moglebaum and Canadian funk/soul duo - The Funk Hunters.
The Indian lineup for the festival has been curated by Pepsi MTV Indies and includes charismatic live electronic/ rock outfit Donn Bhat + Passenger Revelator, Pune based RBMA Bass Camp Dubai selectee Big City Harmonics, Delhi’s own Frame/Frame, Curtain Blue and SundogProject, Bangalore’s Oceantied, Disco Puppet and The Sine Painter as well as analogue heads Paraphoniks with Naveen Gandharva on the belabahar. Joining them will be new talent Spryk, OX7GEN and electronica fusion project Karajimo.
Also performing will be multi instrumentalist Karsh Kale, who will be presenting the Karsh Kale Soundsystem, lyricist Swanand Kirkire with folk outfit Kabir’s Café, rock electronica band FuzzCulture, ambient duo Burudu, indie rock act Yesterdrive, pop act Vasuda Sharma and the Besharams and post-rock bands Aswekeepsearching and Zokova.
Festival-goers will camp under a starlit sky but will have the option of choosing basic or luxury tents. The Lost Party also promises gaming arcades, hammocks, a library and ‘pillow fights’.
