Border Movement Is Looking For Writers

23 May 2013

Border Movement is an online platform that aims to both encourage interaction and strengthen ties between electronic music scenes in South Asia and Germany is looking for more writers based in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The site intends to raise awareness in Germany about growing electronic music trends in South Asia (and vice versa) by providing information and content about artists, labels, trends, clubs, festivals, parties, jam sessions, exhibitions, installations, screenings, concerts, demonstrations/protests, releases, projects, players, promoters, creators, movers, shakers and innovators in both regions.

Border Movement have hooked up with Wild City who have already sourced both established and grassroots writers, bloggers and artists from cities across India to provide a regular stream of content, but we're still looking for more. Currently the site will cover content from New Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Dhaka, Colombo, Lahore and Kabul with more cities to be added as the site progresses.

With support from the Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan, Border Movement aspires to become a cultural catalyst within the two regions with a sharp and exciting long-term vision for a collaborative electronic music scene.
