India Bike Week Announces Line Up

27 December 2012

Billed as the largest and most important motorbike festival in Indian history, India Bike Week, is scheduled to take place from 2-3 February 2013 in North Goa.

A little step towards creating India's own version of the UK's 'Goodwood Festival of Speed' and the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, it will attract up to 10,000 attendees who'll all make their way to this picturesque part of the world to experience the best in Indian and international "biking, music, bars and brotherhood."

"We're developing IBW as both a live ticketed Festival, and the largest exclusive Motorbike Exhibition in India."

The festival will include the 'Men of Steel' celebration ride to Goa, vintage bike concours, superbike customisation stages, a stunt arena, 3 music stages, a MMA fight stage, an open gym, cigar and whiskey club, a non-commercial bike and biker flea market, speakers corner, biker journey cinema, pimp my bike/fixer zone, brand exhibitor zone, men of steel parade and a whole load more.

Aside from the copious amount of testosterone that's going to be flying around the place, there's a whole host of musicals acts including one of our favourite festival bands, 'Gentlemen's Dub Club'. This is a band that would easily make it on to our list of '100 bands to see before you die'. Seriously, forget what you know about dub or dance bands, this is a fantastic booking.
