Drum & Bass Legends Concord Dawn To Headline BASS CAMP Festival

1 February 2012

The legendary drum and bass duo Concord Dawn a.k.a Evan Short and Matt Harvey burst onto New Zealand's music scene back in 1999. After much prime-time airplay, regularly featuring on the weekly top 10’s and breaking chart records across the student radio network, they were eventually picked up by local electronic music label Kog Transmissions going on to release their first LP Concord Dawn in July 2000.

After touring the album throughout their homeland they released Disturbance in April 2001 which received "Best Electronic Album" and "Best Independent Release" at the 2001 bNet music awards. Their 3rd album Uprising kick started a revolution with tracks like “Morning Light” and “Don’t Tell Me” finding international acclaim well before the album’s release. (Audio below)

The following years saw them evolve into one of the most talked about drum and bass acts in history. Now many world tours and 5 LP's later they're ready to bring their genre defying sound to the shores of India thanks to Krunk's 6th edition of BASS CAMP Festival. Once again the quarterly bass music festival dedicated to bringing you some of the freshest bass music acts from across the planet has delivered a gem of a headline.
