Call For Applications: Auster Launches 5 Lac Grant For Creators Across Disciplines
10 June 2025
After nearly half a decade of spotlighting and educating the cross-disciplinary arts space, New Delhi-rooted platform Auster has launched 'auster.fund'. Touting itself as "the first creator-led funds of its kind in India", auster.fund offers 5 lac in funding alongside direct mentorship and a public showcase.
The application process invites Indian nationals above the age of 21 to pitch projects rooted in any medium, from music, design, and performance to visual arts and digital culture, while it looks for a piece of work that is "boundary-pushing, community-centred, or culturally resonant".
"Getting your creative project funded shouldn't depend on who you know," says Auster CEO and Founder Ashrant Bhatia. “Funding should work for the creator — not the other way around. We’re building a simpler, more inclusive model that puts creators first.”
The grant is slated to be a quarterly opportunity. To apply, pitch your project here by the end of June 16.
