Kohra & Midnight Traffic Release Collaborative EP 'Aghori' Via Deep & Hypnotic Techno Label Crescent London

New Delhi-rooted DJ-producer Madhav Shorey aka Kohra and Hyderabad's Rishi aka Midnight Traffic have just released a collaborative EP entitled 'Aghori' via deep and hypnotic techno-focused imprint Crescent London.

Label-mates from their time at Shorey's Qilla Records, the pair continues their dark techno legacy on the 4-track release but with the added influence of Indian spiritual themes (most overtly in the titles of the works) and a tiny amount of styles like trance that are most known for including such themes.

The EP is an exercise in guiding one's attention over the hypnotic repetition of visceral dance grooves whether gradually from the rolling bassline to the psychedelic textures of the opener 'Tantrik' or with a constant state of surprise like the sudden synth squelched and atonal elements of 'Mukti'.
