Jazz Weekender Returns To New Delhi For 3rd Edition
3 July 2024
After 2 successful editions that saw more than 3000 attendees each, Jazz Weekender, the international festival hosted by Wild City, boxout.fm, Gatecrash and Jazz In India, has just announced its 3rd edition which takes place on September 28-29 in New Delhi.
The upcoming festival will see Jazz Weekender return to the lawns of 1AQ in Mehrauli, where the multi-day event has previously hosted acts from jazz and its adjacent genres like neo-soul, R&B, Balkan, funk and fusion under the settings' Banyan tree canopy. With acts ranging from Gino Banks x Rhythm Shaw, Desmadre Orkesta, Cero Ismael and Tara Lily to Kayan, Tribemama Marykali, T.ill Apes and The Revisit Project, the festival has showcased a mix of homegrown and global names that approach stylistic traditions with a modern edge.
While the lineup for the 2024 edition is yet to be disclosed, Jazz Weekender is slated to continue to bring a handpicked selection of boundary-pushing live acts alongside other experiences such as F&B pop-ups and a flea market.
