Dualist Inquiry & Rudy Mukta Collaborate On UK House-Style Single 'No Escape'

Prominent Indian indie act Dualist Inquiry and the meteorically-rising Rudy Mukta have just released their collaborative track 'No Escape'.

An uptempo number created for fun on the dancefloor while borrowing from UK garage and house, the single freshens up the sounds of either artist – testing Rudy Mukta outside her usual fare of pop-R&B and breaking the routine for Dualist Inquiry who, being a long-standing artist, can run the risk of dealing in cliches with his recent work.

"'No Escape' started out as an instrumental which I made to play in my DJ sets. After getting strong positive feedback on the instrumental from live audiences, I began to search for the right vocalist to complete the tune," explains the latter. "When I discovered Rudy Mukta, I knew we had found the perfect artist for this tune – this was further validated when the first recordings Rudy sent (which are usually treated as rough scratches) fell into place so quickly that they ended up in the final version of the song. Truly one of my favourite collaborations to date.”
