LAVI & Foenix Give A Blend Of Rock & Disco For The Internet Generation On 'No Phones at the Dinner Table'

Bangalore duo LAVI and Foenix have released their debut EP 'No Phones at the Dinner Table' via Export Quality Records.

The five-track work showcases a blend of vintage pop and funk sounds with modern production techniques for a retro and cinematic experience that is well-suited for the dance floor.

LAVI's lyrics explore the impact of the internet on our generation in an introspective and satirical way, while Foenix aka Rohit Mukherjeet drew inspiration from the mixing processes of various decades in music to achieve a cohesive sound. The vocals' raw live energy pairs well with Foenix's disco-infused production on the first two tracks, before the EP transitions into a rock sound.
