Exclusive: Listen to ‘Paragon’ From OX7GEN’s Upcoming ‘Recess’ EP

Aditya Ashok is OX7GEN – a versatile drummer and electronic producer and DJ from the beaches of Mumbai, who has graced the stages of Sunburn, NH7, BASS CAMP Festival and more. He’s also recently received a lot of positive attention recently for his lush collaborative live acts.

Wild City is very proud to host a first listen for the track ‘Paragon’ from his upcoming solo EP ‘Recess’.

Here’s what OX7GEN had to say about it:

''My latest EP ‘Recess’ is quite literally, me taking a break from my usual 170 BPM landscape. They're a collection of songs written over the last year and a half, which spans across a variety of electronic music styles that influence my sound.

‘Paragon’ was actually one of the last few songs I wrote for this EP. It's a perfect blend of all the moods you can hear on the record.''

‘Paragon’ certainly makes a departure from his normally frenetic production, but it’s still a high-energy dance track through and through, albeit one that lies a tad left of centre. We’re looking forward to the ‘Recess’ EP and the upcoming September tour.
