NH7 Weekender Heads To Shillong In Febuary

25 November 2014

NH7 Weekender a.k.a. the “happiest music festival in India” announced yesterday via Facebook (and live on stage in Pune) that they will be traveling to Shillong in Febuary 2015. The northeastern hill station and capital of Meghalaya will be the fifth addition to the concert tour after Pune, Bangalore, Delhi and Kolkata.

Weekender is one of the country’s most massive concert properties, and it’s commendable that NH7 is spreading the joy to Shillong, which, as any Indian resident would recognise, is a region associated with a rich musical population and legacy.

The final leg of the NH7 Weekender will take place in Delhi this weekend and you can expect it to be big. International headliners include English indie rock giants - The Vaccines and American metal band Fear Factory. Homegrown outfits that we’re excited about include The F16’s, Sandunes Ensemble, The Ganesh Talkies, Hoirong, and Vital family members Soulspace and Frame/Frame, both of whom will be playing live.
