Shop - Listen - Learn: Wearhouse This Weekend

This weekend 23-24 November, Sitara Studio will host a charity fundraiser in an unusual guise. Wearhouse Bombay is taking over with clothes sourced from across the city to present happy shoppers with a quintessential thrift shop. You can expect bargains galore along with live music, workshops, art, photography exhibitions and travel film screenings.

Music will come from DJs AlgoRhythm and Orbs & Zen, workshops will be conducted by filmmakers from films ‘Ship of Theseus’ and ‘Malegaon ka Superman’ in addition to interactive sessions led by the guys behind ‘Terribly Tiny Tales’, and also a workshop led by Nat Geo travallers with one of the leaders cited to be a large documentary filmmaker. Homegrown will be curating an Instragram exhibition and there will be graphic prints on display from Aparna Banerjee, Anant Ahuja, Dr Chinmaya B. R.

This weekend long event is in partnership with Homegrown, White Collar Hippie and FoxyMoron and is raising money and awareness for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of India (MSSI). All funds generated will be donated to help affected patients by offering medical reimbursements, distributing supplementary medication or providing free mobility aids such as walkers and wheelchairs.
