Emika has gone there and then some. Her cover of the hauntingly addictive Chris Isaak song ‘Wicked Game’ is nothing short of exquisite, and only leaves us wanting more. Thankfully her forthcoming sophomore LP ‘DVA’ is not too far off on the horizon, scheduled to be released on 10 June via Ninja Tune. We're just hoping this isn’t the only sneak peak we get to enjoy before then.
The LP is described as an exploration of self-expression and sound, taking dark dub-pop, sound design inspirations and melding them with classical music of her upbringing, taking Emika's production a giant step forward.
