"On this one I wanted to take it back to my essence of DJ-ing, right?” said DJ Shadow to a jam packed room at the beginning of his set at Boiler Room last week. “The first record I bought when I was ten years old was 'The Adventures Of Grandmaster Flash On The Wheels of Steel' and that's what this is kind of about. It's all the samples I used to make the record I just put out.”
This 30 minute set showcases his crazy sampling abilities and is essential listening for anyone digging his latest LP. Essentially you're able to watch 'The Less You Know, The Better' unfold in front of your eyes.
